Football Preview 24th November

Norwich

Norwich face Preston North End at home this weekend following Tuesday night’s away loss to Nottingham Forest. Preston will return to Carrow Road with former Canaries boss Alex Neil.

The latest results for the Canaries have seen them move down to 15th in the Championship table, but they remain only 6 points off of the play-offs. Preston sit 12th with two more points than Norwich, so a home win would see them leapfrog Preston and head back towards playoff territory. On the ball, City!

Cambridge

Cambridge United face Stevenage at home in another local derby following their defeat at Luton last week. Although the U’s conceded seven goals, they have been on good form of late. This is a great opportunity for Cambridge to prove that the Luton fixture was a complete anomaly and get back on track.

Newmarket

The Jockeys play Saffron Waldon at home this weekend. They are placed one position above Newmarket, so there is all to play for. 14 of the 15 squad members are available for selection this weekend and Manager Kevin Grainger will be wanting another strong performance on the back of their game against Bury last week.

Good luck to all involved!
