After completing his first race, BloorieDotCom has just completed 10 days rest to ensure complete recovery from post-race fatigue.
The two year old will now resume his normal routine of hard training twice per week, which for a horse of his age, will maximise his potential in the next race without burning him out.
His trainer, Peter Chapple-Hyam, is very pleased with the progress that the young colt has made since his first race, commenting that he is hitting his stride very well and is able to maintain his top speed for longer distances than before. His first race was 5 furlongs long, which was possibly a little too short for the horse. A longer race, perhaps 7 furlongs, would suit BloorieDotCom more and enable him to use his ability over longer distances.
The process has already begun for finding him his next race and we will be updating our blog as soon as this happens!
