Project Manager
Location: Brandon, Suffolk

Job Purpose:

To ensure the project is delivered efficiently, on-time, to specification and in a cost effective manner.

Duties and responsibilities:

Running multiple projects simultaneously
Oversee all works and run a clean functioning site
Prepare H&S plans, method statements & risk assessments
Liaising and constantly communicating with site management and sub-contractors
Correlate projects received from Sales through to completion
Ensure that all steps are taken to successfully complete projects in a timely manner with realistic and achievable time frames for procurement, production and installation
Maintain relations with main contractors and attend regular meetings on site
Be dedicated and willing to put in the hours required, to achieve results and deadlines
Maintain operational efficiency, ensuring that the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all
Monitoring project budgets
Ensuring projects stick to agreed timescales
Ability to interpret GA production/workshop drawings

Key Skills:

Excellent presentation and communication skills both verbal and written
Good understanding of construction contracts would be desirable
Computer literate. Must be able to use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Great attention to detail
Must have a full driving licence
Minimum of 3 years experience in project management
Experience of working in the glazing industry

Key Attributes:

Must have a background within the fenestration industry
Structural glazing knowledge is desirable but not essential
Professional and Positive approach
Self motivated & enthusiastic
Strong in building relationships & able to communicate at all levels
Team Player and able to work on own initiative

Qualifications:

Degree in the construction industry is desirable but not essential
CSCS
IOSH or NEBOSH preferred but not essential

Salary: £25,000 - £45,000 a year (dependent on experience)

Sales Executive
Location: Brandon, Suffolk

Job Purpose:

Working for our Rooflight and Skylight division, Skymaker, the sales executive will be responsible for selling a high quality range of manufactured rooflights, skylights and glazing systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Selling a high-quality range of manufactured canopies, rooflights and roof glazing systems
• Developing existing client portfolio
• Expanding current client portfolio
• 40% of your time will be spent selling via specification to architects or large end users
• 40% of your time will spent selling to main contractors and roofing contractors
• Remaining 20% of your time will be spent selling directly to end users, mainly home owners

Key Skills / Attributes:

• Proven field sales track record, exceeding sales targets.
• Specification sales experience and experience dealing with contractors and architects
• Technically competent and comfortable with selling a solution
• Capable of producing written quotations
• Dealing with all sorts of clients from architect to contractor to home owners on site
• Organised, hungry and capable of generating new business and managing existing relationships

HR advisor / Accounts Assistant
Location: Cambridge

Job Purpose:

We are currently looking to recruit a full time HR advisor / Accounts Assistant for our Cambridge office. You must have solid experience of HR and be CIPD qualified. As this is a varied job role with some accounting involved, Sage experience would be useful but not necessary as on the job training can be given.

Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for all HR queries and deal with accordingly
• Assist with recruitment, to include; Advert writing, short listing, bookings of interviews, correspondence with applicants and interviewing
• New Starter Processing, to include; Offer Letters, Contracts & Induction.
• Processing of leavers
• Manage the administration of all HR systems and procedures
• Assist with the management of performance issues and the running of appraisals
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices
• Advise on staff development
• Assist with sourcing and booking training
• Assist our Accounts department from time to time

The ideal candidate must be well organised and have sound administration skills. They must also have a high degree of integrity and trust as they will be handling sensitive and confidential information.

Business Development Manager - Skymaker
Location: Brandon, Suffolk

Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for the growth of Skymaker through the development and execution of a plan to target and acquire new business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Assumes responsibility for targeting new business within designated sectors.
– Generates new business leads through prospecting, cold calls, marketing analysis/targeting key accounts and relevant trade shows/events.
– Assumes responsibility for meeting monthly sales and revenue targets as set by line manager.
– Negotiate commercial agreements for new and existing clients
– Create proposals for clients, using all resources available
– When new opportunities are identified direct them through the relevant channel based on company policy and relevance to the customer.
– Negotiate and effectively manage corporate agreements and other contracts in line with company policy.
– Maintain a high level of competitor awareness and modify approach where necessary to compete.
– Renegotiate existing contracts as required with customers.
– Maintain administration duties required for agreements, proposals and marketing
– Attend relevant events.

Estimator
Location: Brandon, Suffolk

Job Purpose:Working predominantly for our Rooflight and Skylight division, Skymaker, the Estimator’s main purpose will be to liaise with prospective clients, carry out site inspections / surveys and compile appropriate information to complete the tender exercise or produce the quotation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meeting client on-site to negotiate best price and understand requirements.
• Developing relationships with key clients.
• Researching materials, equipment and labour costs.
• Gathering quotes from sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Negotiating improved supplier prices.
• Assessing the levels of risk on a project.
• Preparing and submitting quotations for work.
• Helping with bids for new contracts and supporting buying activities.
• Understanding drawings and specifications.
• Preparing accurate take offs from drawings.

Key Skills:

• Computer literate- especially in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Structural glazing knowledge is desirable but not essential

Business Development Manager - GG Abseil

Job Description:GG Abseil Services, part of the Bloor IE Group of Companies, are recruiting a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of this service-led abseil division throughout the UK.

Rope Access knowledge beneficial but not essential as you will be working in conjunction with a team of highly skilled Rope Access Technicians who will aid with surveys and Technical Information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities issued by local authorities, planners, architects, contracators and facility management companies etc.
• Timely planning, management and completion of tender submissions
• Manage key accounts and provide excellent customer service
• Continue to develop a network of new and existing contacts to gather business information and identify leads, including attendance of networking and / or trade events as appropriate.
• Liaising with the marketing departments weekly to discuss client progress & performance.
• Production of quotations to meet client requirements
• Managing the Technical Team in the arrangement of surveys and gathering of information
• Liaising with the Rope Access Technicians to assist in the production of quotations and
