After much anticipation for Blooriedotcom’s third race, it ended in a blanket finish in a hard fought battle for the first four places.
In what was quite an eventful mile long race in which horse number 8 fell to the ground along with his unfortunate jockey approximately 2 furlongs from home. Luckily, both were unharmed, and did not cause a pile up on the racecourse.
Blooriedotcom ran his heart out again and led in the final furlong, despite sustaining minor injuries to both hind legs, caused by horses jostling for position. He battled to finish 4th, beaten only by a neck for first place.
Jockey Martin Harley said that our horse did everything that was asked of him, and he was unlucky not to have won. We are all relieved that he has come home safely, ready to race again another day.
